My favorite M&P song. Someone said the song mysterious and groovy. Not mysterious at all. According to Rolling Stone magazine, John Phillips wrote it to his wife Michelle because she was cheating on him with bandmate Denny. His heart was broken and the words reflect that.

I remember buying this album when it first came out; I would listen to it over and over and write down all the words to the songs. My heart is shattered that you are no longer with us Eric. You were such an amazingly talented and gifted artist; a true and humble gentleman. Even though you are no longer with us on this Earth, your music will never die and I know you are singing with the angels now. Rest in peace sweet angel.
